As a result of the growing interest in this website from other states, we have developed a portal network. The sole purpose is to create a network of portals that share access to the Minnesota ABE Disability Manual (now the ABE Disability Manual).
PANDA - Minnesota ABE Disability Specialists, a supplemental services grant funded through the Minnesota State Department of Education has teamed with 3FIVE Designs (website developer) to produce the Minnesota ABE Disabilities Portal, mn.abedisabilities.org. This website is written by ABE professionals and disability specialists and is a unique resource for all educators.
The chapters found within the ABE Disability Manual are shown below, in the screen capture below. Each chapter includes an overview of the specific disability, classroom challenges, instructional strategies, ELL applications, national resources, and much more.
Minnesota specific resources can now be found by clicking on the Resources tab in the green banner above. Click on the screen capture below to go the the "Disability Manual".
